OLM School to Host Alumni Mass,

New Student Open House

Sunday, January 27th

 

Our Lady of Mercy School, 55 Fourth Avenue in East Greenwich, is hosting its annual Open House for prospective families on Sunday, January 27th from 10:00 a.m. – Noon.  Visitors will be greeted by current and former students, faculty and staff and are invited to tour the school to discover all of the academic, spiritual and extra-curricular programs OLM is proud to offer.  OLM School Campus Cuisine lunch program will be on hand with tasty treats from our vendors such as Wild Harvest, Tio Mateo’s, Panera Bread, Papa Gino’s, and Chick-fil-a.

With all-day Pre-K and K through Grade 8, OLM School provides a top-notch education rooted in the Catholic tradition.  OLM offers a challenging curriculum with multiple enrichment opportunities like weekly Spanish Classes for Grades PreK-8, Computer Classes, Music, Health, Library, and Art, and physical education twice per week.  Extracurricular activities include Robotics, Drama, Band, Yearbook, CAL Sports, Mock Trial and Student Council.   OLM offers numerous after school clubs as well, such as Chess, Girls on the Run, Stock Market, Chinese and many more. Before- and after-school care are available, as well as multiple scheduling options for Pre-K.  Bus service is available to those students residing in East Greenwich, West Warwick and parts of Warwick.  OLM graduates continually rank at the top of their high school classes, with many entering honors programs at the Catholic high schools throughout the Diocese.

Also on January 27th, OLM Parish will be welcoming all OLM School graduates to a special Alumni Mass at 9:00 a.m. at OLM Church.  Graduates from all years are invited to join current school families at mass and then proceed to the school for tours and refreshments.  There, they will have the opportunity to connect with other OLM School alums and to re-discover the OLM tradition of excellence.  For further information on the Alumni Mass or other OLM School Alumni activities, please contact OLM Alumni Coordinator, Sophia Beland, at sbeland@olmschool.org.
